Lucky

Hi there, I'm Lucky! I sure feel lucky to be somewhere that I am warm, safe, and fed, as that is not always something I have had. I was found roaming outside, so the humans don't know much about my history, but it is clear enough that I have been roughing it for some time. I arrived skinny, and have the signs of having had a litter (or numerous) of puppies. But, I'm ready to leave all that behind me and move onto better things - like lap cuddles, delicious treats, and playing outside! I am a very gentle and sweet soul, and am so grateful for all the love I've received. I've made sure to thank the humans by giving them tons of face kisses and jumping into their laps for snuggle sessions. My favourite! I seem to be okay with other dogs, and I am working on loose leash walking and learning basic commands. I really want to please my humans so training will be a breeze! I need to build confidence, but I am well on my way to being the best adventure and cuddle buddy you could ask for. Come see for yourself! I can't wait to be lucky enough to have a home all of my own!
